Ichi-go Ichi-e is a Japanese four-character idiom roughly translated to “one meeting, one time.” It’s an ethos traditionally used in tea ceremonies to highlight and cherish the fact that each meeting, each moment, is a unique experience that happens once and only once.

Therein lies its beauty and allure.
